Hi everyone, hope you had a great weekend. I spent almost the entire weekend making cards, and loved every minute! My cards take me far too long to put together, part of the problem is that I usually come up with my own sketch which usually takes a while, then I make most of my embellishments (or put them together) and of course the actual coloring of the image takes me a while....but the end result is that I managed to get three cards done!
I will take pictures of the cards and post them later today for you, but wanted to try to get some links posted now, and will post some more later tonight.
Last week I listed the "Sketching Stamper" blog and did not link to her blog, so here is the correct link. Make sure you visit her blog to be absolutely awed by her creations! And don't forget to check out her Magnolia blog, another amazing collection of her work.
Inspirations Paints: These are great paints, especially the "Fairy Dust" and "Winter Frost." If you are looking for a way to add subtle bling to your projects look no further! And the price is right too.
Make a beaded pen: This is really a neat idea, quick and inexpensive, would make a great gift for someone with a note pad or other stationary type item.
Embossing Powder: Great post on everything embossing powder! I especially liked the chart that lists the various types of powders and their attributes.
Ok, I am going to finish this post when I get home tonight, will add a few more links, pictures of the cards I finished and also some thoughts on card making.
Until then, have a wonderful day, see you in a few hours.
