Hopefully everyone is doing well after their Easter celebration. Here we had a quiet day, just my brother-in-law and father-in-law over for an early dinner. What was most unique about this Easter is the weather, rain, wind and cold, very, very unusual for CA, especially for San Jose.
I am typing this on Easter, even though it isn't posted until Monday (not enough time before work to get the post done), and right now the wind is kicking up and the rain is starting to come down in sheets, and all I can think is that this is more like Thanksgiving weather then Easter weather...oh well.
So, what should we look at this week? I have so many links saved that it is sometimes hard for me to cover just one area of stamping, so today's links are a collection of all sorts of things, some of which I hope you will enjoy.
CC Designs Swiss Pixies Spring Kit: Oh my, this is just an amazing collection of Swiss Pixie stamps, and the price can't be beat! And yes, I ordered this kit as these Pixies are quickly becoming one of my favorite stamps, right up there with Magnolia stamps.
Maya Resist: I have posted about this type of product before, and while I haven't yet ordered I am thinking of adding this to my order soon. If you have tried this product let us all know what you think.
Drawing a face for Tilda's: There are many views on the Magnolia stamps lacking a complete face, and this link shows you how you can easily make a face for Tilda if you so desire. Interesting, not sure if I will try this (the lack of facial features doesn't bother me), but at the very least I will keep this bookmarked in case I do want to fill in the face a bit more.
Stamps by Judith: GREAT stamps! I saw this company at the scrapbook show I attended a few weeks ago and need to remind myself that these stamps need to go on my wish list. Make sure to check out their video page for some neat ideas on coloring with Tombo markers.
Wildorchidcraft: You are not going to believe the prices this company has for flowers of all kinds, especially for their roses. The company is in England, so make sure to change the currency to dollars. From what I have heard Wild Orchid sends the flowers very fast, and the flowers are a good quality as well.
Inspirational Tips, Techniques and Tutorial Blog: Wow, some amazing tutorials here, all sorts of techniques, projects and unique ways to make an "old" technique "new."
StampARTic blog: Another great blog with tons of tutorials, check the list on the right of the blog and have an hour at least to surf these how to's.
Sketching Stamper: I love Chris' blog, her work is simply amazing. Yes, I know, this link was posted about a month ago, but really you need to go over to her blog again and see some of her new work, you will be awed, I promise!
New Tim Holtz Distress Ink Colors: I have most of them (am waiting for three more to arrive), and absolutely LOVE these new colors. If you are wondering what the colors look like, check out this video, and yes the colors are even better in person.
Have a great week filled with all sorts of stamping wonders.
Thank you for all of these fun links!!! Those distressed inks are "TO DIE FOR"!!!! lol...
