I love to watch rubber stamping videos, partially because I learn better by watching someone do something, and also because I can rewind and keep watching until I understand what they are showing.
As you know, there are so many rubber stamping videos online. Some are amazingly good, others, while containing great information, are just not well put together. Sometimes the information in the video is very good, but the video itself is so bad you just don't want to watch the whole thing.
Tonight I have a few videos for you, and I like them because they get to the meat of what you want to know right away. So, grab your popcorn and settle in for a few videos.
* The video below shows some ways to use stickles with patterned paper, and you might also see how to use stickles a few ways you hadn't thought of yet:
*I love The Scrapbook Lounge, and this is a great episode, especially the last project. If you do no have diamond glaze you can use other clear dimensional glazes. Don't forget that you can download the projects on the same page as the video.
* Another episode from The Scrapbook Lounge, this time featuring a Kaleidoscope Ornament using special software (which, after seeing this episode, I am VERY tempted to buy). Even if you don't have the software you might get an idea on how you could create something close with what you have on hand.
* The video below shows you what happens when double sided tape meets glitter : )
*Oooooooooooohhhhh, I LOVE Alcohol Inks! And this is a GREAT video from Tim Holtz, and at the end he gives you some great tips on other ways to use the inks.
That is it for tonight, hope you enjoy the videos, and have a great evening and I will see you tomorrow.
Thanks for leading us to these great videos. I also love watching videos to learn.
ReplyDeletethanks for all of your great video choices. I've seen the alcohol inks in the store and never knew how to use them, just might have to buy them now.
ReplyDeleteOh Crystals you are going to LOVE the inks! Try buying them at JoAnn.com, best price out there.
ReplyDeleteAnd when you get them, just play with them, they make the most amazing backgrounds, and this video had so many ideas!
Let me know if you get them and how you like them : )
Gasp! I've never used any of these products/techniques before. I'm crazy, I know. I keep reading stuff about stickles and it was good to see how they're used. The alcohol inks leave me curious... may have to try them out one of these days! Thanks for the videos!
ReplyDeleteGreat videos, thank you for gathering them together.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching Tim, now I feel confident about digging out those alcohol inks I bought and actually using them rather than just thinking about it.
For some things, a video is just so much better than still images.
You're the best! Thanks so much for sharing these with us! :O)
ReplyDeleteGreat links! Especially the Tim Holtz one... I've been wanting to learn more about using alcohol inks and this was great timing!
